January update

Highlights for the month of January include: This Sunday (2nd) is communion Sunday.  The Second Sunday Dinner is next week (9th) following church. An Afternoon service will follow the dinner. The dinner is potluck.  All you have to do is bring a dish to pass and if you forget to bring a dish, do not worry there is always plenty to eat. The third event happening is Sanctity of Human life Sunday on January 23rd. Come out and join as we celebrate life.

Christmas

Hi Folks, Christmas is fast approaching. Today our message is entitled "One Common Christmas". This message celebrates the fact that God loves ordinary people. Tuesday night we are going out caroling in our neighborhood at 6PM. Afterwards ( aprox. 7:30PM ), We will gather for Hot chocolate and other goodies at the parsonage for our Christmas party. Feel free to drop in for either or both of these activities. I hope to see you in God's House today!

Christmas Cheer

The Christmas season is in full swing. This week's message will be "The Real Spirit of Christmas Past, Present and Future". S.S. Continues to feature "Quieting the Noisy Soul".  There will be Caroling at 6PM and a Christmas Party at 7:30PM on December 21st. All are invited to attend. Party will be rescheduled if there is bad weather. Merry Christmas to all.

Welcome to Killawog Baptist

Hi Folks, this is new to me so please bear with me while I figure this out. I hope to make at least two posts a week to keep you up to date with whats happening at Killawog. Killawog Baptist is a warm, family friendly church. We are excited about preaching the word in a way that connects to families. Our pastor is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor and he is ready and willing to help with any difficulties that you may be facing. Our adult Sunday School is currently watching " Quieting the Noisy Soul " by Jim Berg.  Join us for coffee as we learn how to have peace in our life. Killawog Baptist has just begun its winter schedule. We have Sunday School at 10:00AM and Morning Service at 11:00AM. There is no evening service during winter hours. On the second Sunday of each month, starting in January, we have a carry in dinner and a second service right afterwards. Prayer meetings are held in the homes of our members during our winter hours. You can email us for the location each week. This month all messages center around Christmas. Come and be blessed. Killawog Baptist is located between Whitney point and Marathon off route 11. Go south from Marathon or North from Whitney Point on route 11 until you see the large green bridge. This is Jennings Creek rd.  Take jennings Creek road west. Killawog Baptist is the second church on the right just before you cross the railroad tracks. See you this Sunday!
